I have made probably 15 different cards.  I use any picture of a Matryoshka Doll for my outline and decorate it with markers, paint, brads, fabric or any other scrapbook type embellishment.  I use scrapbook paper for most of my backgrounds and just print the pattern out on the decorative paper.

I did not make any of these beautiful cards.

If you do get lucky and find fabric it is usually a fat quarter or a half-yard piece.  It is always quite expensive and your biggest source is eBay or Etsy.

Sigh........oh, to have a few yards to just make everything.

It seems like every other country besides the USA carriers an assortment of these fabrics where you can buy it by the yard.  Now, if I could just learn how to make fabric......hmmmmmmm.

The are so cute!  I use various small dolls for my toppers. The ones that are coloring pages I have used markers and then scanned the page and print in color on cardstock.  I use a thick plastic toothpick that has a flat edge and glue it with a regular glue stick to the cut out doll.  These are so adorable and would make a great cupcake for your little girl to take to school.
